Thanks for your help, you guys are amazing! The technician turned out to be correct, I needed a controller. I got a number from Ferguson's for Rheem (800 621-5622 for your reference). The Rheem tech determined that I needed a new controller which I got sent for free because of the warranty. I was a few months off from recall, but it didn't matter. Thanks for being so helpful so fast, I am a Pipers Plumbing customer for life! You consistently do a first class job at reasonable rates, what more could a customer ask for.
